Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst

Role overview

Doble Diez Televisión is looking for a part-time, remote Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst who can translate data into practical insights that guide both strategic planning and day-to-day operations. This position is centered on building a clearer understanding of performance and audience behavior within a media and television setting.

What you will do

In this role, you will gather, check, and analyze information from different sources, then turn that analysis into dashboards, reports, and recommendations that stakeholders can use. You will also shape and improve data models, work closely with both technical and business teams to define reporting needs, and help maintain ETL workflows that support reliable, consistent data.

Another part of the job is to document BI solutions, keep an eye on data quality, and share findings in a way that helps teams make better decisions and improve overall performance.

Qualifications

• You should be comfortable working with complex data, spotting patterns, and explaining insights in a clear, practical way.
• Experience with analytics tasks such as querying, reporting, and using BI or data visualization tools is important.
• A working understanding of data warehousing and structured data storage environments is needed.
• You should have hands-on exposure to ETL processes, including building, improving, and resolving issues in those workflows.
• Knowledge of data modeling for dashboards, reporting, and business intelligence systems is expected.
• SQL skills and familiarity with at least one BI or visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker would be an advantage.
• You need to be able to work independently in a remote setup, organize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are required so you can work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field is preferred, though equivalent practical experience is also acceptable.
• Exposure to, or interest in, media, broadcasting, or entertainment would be a plus.
