telKosh | Global Communications is a fast-growing provider of mobile value-added services (MVAS) and bulk SMS aggregation solutions. The company also builds communication products powered by conversational AI, helping businesses manage high-volume messaging and automated customer engagement. Its offerings are used across sectors such as real estate, logistics, banking and financial services, retail and e-commerce, travel aggregation, and other industry verticals that depend on reliable communication at scale.
Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Business Development Executive in Lagos. The role is centered on identifying fresh business opportunities and expanding telKosh’s MVAS and bulk SMS portfolio across priority industries. The person in this position will own the sales journey from prospecting to closure, while also supporting account growth through relationship management and cross-sell/upsell activity.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and approach potential clients to build a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Qualify leads, manage prospects, and progress opportunities through each stage of the sales cycle.
- Arrange and conduct client meetings to understand business needs and present suitable solutions.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, proposals, and quotations.
- Negotiate terms and close contracts while maintaining a professional client experience.
- Manage existing accounts to improve retention and uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Work with marketing, product, and operations teams to align solutions with client requirements and service expectations.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, track sales activity, and prepare regular reports and forecasts.
- Support revenue growth targets through disciplined follow-up and opportunity management.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in new business development, lead generation, pipeline building, and opportunity qualification.
- Good commercial understanding of MVAS, bulk SMS, and conversational AI solutions, with the ability to connect features to customer value.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities, along with negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Account management experience focused on client relationships, retention, and revenue expansion.
- Exposure to telecom, MVAS, SaaS, or similar technology and services sales is an added advantage.
- Comfortable using CRM systems and handling basic sales reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Self-driven, target-focused, and able to collaborate on-site in a fast-paced cross-functional setup.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.

This role is based in Lagos and requires working on-site. The position is aligned with a high-volume communications business that serves enterprise clients across multiple industries.
