Role Overview

As an Associate Product Manager, you will work on products that serve a large user base and help shape experiences that are tailored, practical, and impactful. The role involves both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, including roadmap creation, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and using data to guide product decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop product direction by weighing user needs, trade-offs, and the competitive landscape.
• Partner with engineering, design, operations, analytics, finance, and compliance teams to deliver measurable product outcomes.
• Contribute to product improvements that help broaden access to financial services for a large number of users.
• Translate customer pain points into a clear and inspiring product roadmap.
• Use first-principles thinking and data to support decisions and resolve product challenges.

Requirements

• 1 to 2 years of product management experience is required.
• Previous experience in fintech is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Ability to identify user pain points and turn them into actionable product direction.
• Comfort with using Replit, Loveable, or Bolt to demonstrate product ideas.
• Exposure to AI/ML product development, consumer technology products, or financial systems such as risk, margin, and trading platforms is beneficial.
• Strong technical understanding to discuss HLDs and LLDs with engineering teams and ensure solutions scale well.
• Good judgment and decision-making ability based on data and first principles.
• Hands-on fluency with SQL and spreadsheet tools such as Sheets or Excel.
• Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and bring stakeholders together.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong motivation and curiosity to solve complex problems.

Work Location

This is an onsite role based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
