ఉద్యోగ వివరణ
Overview
MEDirect is an Australian scale-up operating at the crossroads of healthcare, law, and artificial intelligence. The team is building MEDirect 2.0, an AI-focused platform designed to change how medico-legal work is delivered. Its AI-driven medico-legal report assistant, Report Studio, is scheduled to move into production beta in July 2026.
This opening places you at the heart of MEDirect’s transformation. You will work closely with Natalia Nishenia, the Senior Product & Delivery Manager, in a full-time remote position with a competitive salary package. The role is centred on coordination across an AI-first product environment, where you’ll help keep delivery on track across several parallel workstreams.
If you want firsthand exposure to how AI-led product delivery is executed inside a team actively building the product, this is a strong opportunity to learn while contributing to work that ships each sprint.
Role summary
This position is a practical coordination role for someone who enjoys structure, can keep many moving parts aligned, and brings a builder’s mindset. You will act as part of the operating rhythm of an AI-first product team, helping ensure work progresses smoothly across product, engineering, and design.
The role reports to Natalia Nishenia, Senior Product & Delivery Manager. It is explicitly a coordination position rather than a project management role.
Key responsibilities
You will manage the flow of work by tracking milestones, risks, dependencies, actions, and delivery progress across MEDirect 2.0 initiatives. You will also keep Jira in good order by maintaining backlog structure, ticket quality, and sprint cadence so engineering teams always have clearly prepared work.
In Confluence, you will keep documentation current and usable, including meeting notes, decisions, business requirements documents, process maps, user journeys, and team knowledge resources. You will gather requirements, decisions, and action items from workshops and stakeholder meetings, then turn them into well-structured tickets and documentation.
You will support user acceptance testing preparation, defect logging, and release readiness. You’ll also help coordinate handovers between business, product, design, and engineering teams, and prepare weekly status updates for Natalia and the founders while raising blockers as early as possible.
What you need to succeed
We are looking for someone with one to three years of experience in project coordination, delivery coordination, business analysis support, or a similar type of role. You should be genuinely interested in AI tools and comfortable using them as part of your own working approach, since the company expects every team member to rethink how work gets done in an AI-first environment.
Strong practical experience with Jira and Confluence is essential, including maintaining them properly rather than only using them occasionally. You should be able to create clear documentation, keep it updated, and communicate confidently with engineers, designers, and senior stakeholders.
The role also calls for careful attention to detail, the ability to handle multiple workstreams at once, and comfort with uncertainty, as the product is still being built and priorities may change.
Nice-to-have experience
It would be beneficial if you have worked in a scale-up environment, have exposure to Agile software delivery, or have supported UAT and testing activities. Experience in healthcare, legal, insurance, or another regulated industry would also be valuable, as would hands-on collaboration with product, engineering, or UX teams.
Why this opportunity matters
MEDirect is working to reshape a whole category of work over the next 18 months, with a particular focus on how medico-legal reports are created in Australia. Joining now means helping define how an AI-first product team operates, rather than simply documenting an existing process. This is the kind of role where the impact compounds over time.
