Role summary

The company is looking for a highly driven, curious, and adaptable professional to join its acquisitions and development function. This role participates across the full investment and development lifecycle and is suited to someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the acquisitions team in analyzing and underwriting potential Class-A self-storage development sites and operating assets across the country.
• Build and update sophisticated financial models used to evaluate investments, including capital stack design and equity waterfall analysis.
• Work with the capital markets team on efforts to secure debt and equity financing for new investments.
• Help prepare investment committee packages and presentation materials.
• Keep the deal pipeline database current and organized.
• Support property-level due diligence and contribute to transaction execution.
• Conduct outreach to storage owners, developers, and brokers in the commercial real estate market.
• Carry out one-off analyses that support investment choices and market positioning.

Qualifications and skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in commercial real estate, finance, consulting, or a similar area.
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, with a genuine interest in real estate investing and development.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills; exposure to real estate financial modeling is beneficial.
• Well organized, precise, and comfortable adapting to change.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, self-directed approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently while also contributing effectively to a small team.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, economics, or a closely related discipline is preferred.
• This is an in-office position.
