A/C Technician

A luxury hospitality property in Riyadh is looking for a committed maintenance specialist to handle air-conditioning and refrigeration work. What You Will Do

• Carry out repair, servicing, and technical troubleshooting for the hotel’s refrigeration and cooling equipment, including freezers, refrigerators, ice machines, fan coil units, chillers, and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all air-conditioning and refrigeration assets across the property.
• Monitor how refrigeration systems and their components are performing and take corrective action when needed.
• Inspect door sealing and closing mechanisms on walk-in coolers and freezers, including gaskets and latches.
• Maintain defrost systems and the automated functions of ice-making equipment.
• Respond to maintenance work orders raised by different hotel departments.
• Clean fan coil units regularly and replace or service air-handling unit filters as required.
• Check the efficiency of air-conditioning and chilled-water systems.
• Work closely with other engineering team members to identify faults in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems and support proper setup and operation.
• Control the release of CFCs and ensure they are not vented into the atmosphere.
• Overhaul air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment and system components when required.
• Inspect refrigerant and oil levels and support the management of major repair work.
• Coordinate with the engineering storekeeper regarding parts procurement.
• Complete all tasks in line with local technical regulations and safety requirements.

Education and Experience

The role is intended for candidates with a diploma in refrigeration systems maintenance or building services engineering. Prior experience in a similar position is expected, along with solid working knowledge of how this equipment is operated and maintained. Strong English communication skills and the ability to diagnose faults and restore faulty subsystems are essential.
