About the internship
Matha Theresa Foundation is looking for an HR intern who is interested in people operations and wants practical exposure in a nonprofit environment. This role is suited to someone who enjoys communication, problem-solving, and supporting a positive workplace culture.
What you will do
- Support hiring activities by sharing openings, reviewing resumes, and arranging interview schedules.
- Assist with onboarding and exit processes so new team members and leaving employees have a smooth experience.
- Contribute to the creation and rollout of HR policies and procedures that help maintain a healthy work environment.
- Help coordinate learning and development initiatives to build employee skills and knowledge.
- Work with the HR team on employee concerns and help with conflict-resolution efforts.
- Maintain employee files and update HR systems to keep records accurate and compliant.
- Take on additional administrative work and project support as required.
