Static Mechanical QC Inspector

Role Overview

A major gas project is looking for an urgent hire for a Static Mechanical QC Inspector to support quality control activities for static mechanical works.

Qualifications

• A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is the minimum educational requirement.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field is preferred.
• Extra certification in QA/QC, welding inspection, or industrial inspection will be considered an added advantage.
• The candidate should have a sound understanding of engineering fundamentals, materials, and fabrication methods.
• A minimum of 5 years of GCC experience is required, and Aramco project exposure is mandatory.

Core Duties

• Carry out quality checks for static mechanical scope, including piping, tanks, and pressure vessels.
• Inspect piping, tank, and pressure vessel works to confirm compliance with project requirements.
• Verify work against Aramco standards, inspection test plans, and technical specifications.
• Perform fit-up, welding, dimensional, and final inspections.
• Attend and witness hydrostatic and pneumatic testing activities.
• Examine material certificates and confirm full traceability of materials.
• Issue non-conformance reports and monitor corrective actions through closure.
• Keep QA/QC records, inspection reports, and related documentation up to date.
• Liaise with the client, contractors, and third-party inspectors as needed.

• The applicant must hold a valid Iqama with at least 3 months remaining, up to 2026.
