Senior Scheduler

Role overview

Rockwell is hiring an experienced project scheduler to join a growing engineering team on a permanent, full-time basis. The position is initially attached to a mechanical engineering project in Limerick, County Limerick, Ireland.

What you will do

• Create project schedules during the pre-tender phase.
• Assist the project team with schedule development after contract award.
• Keep schedules up to date by working closely with Project Managers.
• Contribute to weekly and monthly progress reporting.
• Ensure scheduling aligns with the project contract requirements and milestone plan.
• Spot risks and issues early, then address them or escalate them as needed.
• Carry out critical path analysis and identify potential project blockages at an early stage.
• Collaborate with the leadership team on project planning and resource allocation.

Required experience and skills

• Demonstrated experience in project scheduling within engineering or construction environments.
• Hands-on expertise with MS Project and Primavera P6 is required.
• Previous exposure to the Pharma or Life Sciences sector.
• Strong technical and IT capability.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to take initiative and work effectively without close supervision.
