Role Overview

The company is hiring an experienced Senior Pattern Maker for its Product Development team. In this position, you will turn design concepts into production-ready garments, with a strong focus on fit quality, consistency, and efficient manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Create first patterns, prototypes, and final production patterns for multiple apparel categories.
• Build, update, grade, and manage digital patterns in Gerber.
• Review sketches, technical packs, and product details to produce precise patterns that reflect the intended design.
• Join garment fitting sessions and refine patterns based on fit comments and technical inputs.
• Work closely with Design, Technical Design, Product Development, Sampling, and Production teams during development.
• Make sure all patterns align with company fit benchmarks, construction standards, quality targets, and manufacturing practicality.
• Improve pattern engineering to enhance garment build, fabric efficiency, and production performance.
• Set grading rules and maintain consistent sizing across all size ranges.
• Resolve technical and fit-related issues during sampling and bulk production.
• Keep digital pattern files, revision control, and technical records well organized.
• Assist overseas factories by checking patterns, solving technical issues, and confirming production readiness.
• Guide junior pattern makers and help improve pattern development workflows.

Requirements

• At least 5 to 8 years of experience as a pattern maker in the fashion or apparel sector.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in pattern development.
• Advanced expertise in Gerber, including pattern design, grading, and marker making.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit evaluation, grading, and production methods.
• Substantial experience conducting fittings and applying technical pattern corrections.
• Good understanding of industrial garment manufacturing and production workflows.
• Prior exposure to international suppliers and manufacturing partners is a strong advantage.
• Ability to read technical drawings, tech packs, and construction specifications.
• Fluency in English for effective communication.

Preferred Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Technology, Pattern Making, or a similar discipline is preferred.
• Experience with international fashion brands or large-scale apparel manufacturing setups is an added plus.
