Sampling Merchandiser

Role Overview

PADIPS Private Limited, a garments manufacturing company in Tiruppur, is looking for a Sampling Merchandiser with strong fashion technology and sampling experience to manage sample development and coordination across teams.

Core Responsibilities

• Identify, arrange, and coordinate the fabrics, trims, and other accessories needed for sample creation.
• Drive the development of product samples in line with buyer specifications and expectations.
• Track sample production closely so that agreed timelines are consistently achieved.
• Review buyer feedback on dispatched samples and ensure revisions are completed accurately.
• Assist with cost estimation by coordinating material usage calculations and sample costing details.
• Keep communication flowing smoothly between merchandising, production, and quality teams.
• Check buyer emails for comments and updates, then conduct floor discussions with pattern masters to communicate necessary changes.
• Manage time effectively and monitor sample approvals and follow-up status.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• Degree or diploma in Fashion Technology is preferred.
• Working knowledge of garment manufacturing and sample-making workflows.
• Good understanding of fabrics, trims, and garment construction.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
