Risk & Compliance Specialist

Role Overview

Alalameya Group is hiring a Risk & Compliance Specialist to help strengthen cybersecurity governance, manage risk activities, and support compliance work in line with both regulatory and internal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and regularly refine the risk register.
• Track risk mitigation actions and compliance commitments to ensure follow-through.
• Assist with scheduled compliance assessments and review exercises.
• Compile status updates on risk and compliance matters for leadership and relevant stakeholders.
• Keep documentation, supporting evidence, and compliance files organized and ready for audits.
• Work with cybersecurity, operations, and business teams to monitor remediation progress and compliance-related initiatives.

Required Profile

• Hands-on background in risk management, compliance, audit, governance, or cybersecurity.
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 27001, NCA Essential Cybersecurity Controls (ECC), and NIST frameworks.
• Strong ability to document findings, prepare reports, and analyze information accurately.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior exposure to risk assessments, compliance monitoring, or audit support is an added advantage.
• Professional certifications such as ISO 27001, CRISC, CISA, or similar credentials are highly valued.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
