QA Analyst (m/f/d)

Role overview

Bees & Bears is hiring a QA Analyst to join its Product team in Berlin. The role is focused on improving product quality across the full delivery cycle, working closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define, protect, and raise quality standards from the earliest design discussions through to release.

What you'll do

• Create, update, and own automated test suites that help support continuous delivery.
• Carry out manual and exploratory testing to find issues before customers do.
• Work side by side with engineers while features are being built by reviewing requirements, surfacing edge cases, and helping shape acceptance criteria.
• Investigate defects, write clear reproduction notes, and help prioritise bugs based on impact and risk.
• Contribute to release readiness by making sure testing coverage is sufficient and sign-off conditions are satisfied.
• Spot weaknesses in the current test approach and suggest practical ways to improve it.
• Promote strong quality habits across the team through retrospectives and process conversations.

What we're looking for

• At least 4 years of professional experience in QA or software testing.
• Practical experience with automation tools or frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, pytest, or comparable solutions.
• Good knowledge of testing methods including unit, integration, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.
• Experience working in an agile product environment with engineers and product managers.
• Strong analytical ability and a sharp eye for detail.
• Ability to communicate bugs, risks, and quality concerns clearly and concisely.
• A team-oriented mindset with the view that quality is everyone’s responsibility.
