Project Coordinator

About the Role

TechnipFMC is looking for a Project Coordinator to support dependable order execution in line with company values, policies, and contract commitments, including QHSES, quality, schedule, and cost targets. This role focuses on handling non-project orders and contracts from order entry and customer acknowledgement through delivery, while coordinating with the EMS team and ensuring the agreed technology, quality, and delivery expectations are met or exceeded. The position serves as a main contact point for Sales and Account Managers, who act as the customer interface for the order.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the full scope of work, including budget, schedule, quality, safety, and compliance, while keeping deliveries on time and within financial limits.
• Coordinate with clients and other stakeholders to clarify scope, objectives, and requirements, and keep internal teams aligned with those expectations.
• Lead the safe and quality delivery of engineering, procurement, and manufacturing activities by preparing execution plans and schedules, applying business processes, managing resources, and controlling costs and forecasts.
• Administer scope changes and change orders, ensuring any adjustment to scope or timeline is properly reviewed and approved by the project manager or commercial/sales owner.
• Identify project risks and prepare mitigation actions to reduce their impact.
• Take financial responsibility for engineering deliverables, procurement items such as material, equipment, and subcontractors, as well as start-up-related materials, equipment, subcontractors, deliverables, and cost performance.
• Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, including the project team, partners, and other relevant groups, and provide regular reporting on progress and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Construction, or Manufacturing Engineering, or in Procurement.
• Understanding of the upstream oil and gas sector, including related equipment, operations, and services.
• Knowledge of design-to-manufacture project environments.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar coordination position.
• Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
• Professional-level English communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, team leadership, collaboration, conflict resolution, and empathy skills.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Experience using project management tools and software.
• Understanding of quality control and quality assurance practices.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to analyse complex issues, identify root causes, build practical solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure.
