Payroll Specialist

Role overview

We are looking for a Payroll Specialist (m/f/d) for an established service provider focused on payroll processing and HR services for medium-sized businesses. The position offers a varied day-to-day workload in a modern, collaborative setting with a high level of ownership and direct contact with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a defined portfolio of clients or accounts.
• Handle monthly payroll processing from start to finish, including all preparatory and follow-up tasks.
• Serve as the contact person for customers, health insurance providers, and public authorities.
• Work with HR teams on payroll-related matters.
• Prepare reports, analyses, and lists.
• Ensure payroll runs are completed on time and to a high quality standard.

Profile required

• Professional experience in payroll accounting.
• Confident use of MS Office.
• Organized, careful, and independent way of working.
• Strong service mindset and good communication skills.
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
• Experience with common payroll systems is an advantage.
