Job Summary

This role supports the operation and upkeep of the Patriot Transmitter Tank Test Stations and the cooling system in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The technician will work onsite and contribute to the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of related equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Run and maintain the test station used for PAT 247 Patriot transmitter tanks.
• Perform acceptance testing, combustion-related checks, fault tracing, repairs, and troubleshooting on final tanks and the high-pressure primary power supply actuator of the transmitter regulator.
• Confirm that high-pressure power supply devices and regulator components remain in working condition, including items returned from repair.
• Locate defects in tanks that cannot be serviced and narrow issues down to the smallest practical replaceable unit.
• Replace damaged or unserviceable components and carry out repairs as needed.
• Test the unit under test and return it to operational status.
• Take part in on-the-job training activities.
• Spot unsafe or incorrect work methods and help reinforce proper maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
• Prepare maintenance documentation and submit Systems Problem Reports.
• Handle other related assignments within the same technical area.

Required Qualifications

Applicants must hold a diploma in electronics from a recognized local or international college or institute. The role is open only to Saudi nationals. A minimum of 8 years of prior experience is required in operating, maintaining, and repairing equipment at a central maintenance station or a factory environment focused on testing, fault isolation, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic units and subassemblies. Candidates should have strong practical knowledge of both basic and advanced electronics, along with the ability to test combustion processes and troubleshoot or repair primary and final high-pressure regulator supply cabinets in the Patriot transmitter group. Familiarity with engineering documentation, schematic diagrams, general kits, and standard commercial test equipment is essential.
