பணி விளக்கம்

About the company

OAG is a long-established intelligence partner for the global travel sector, helping organisations turn complex data into clear decisions. For almost 100 years, the company has supported the travel industry with trusted information and expertise. Today, OAG combines high-quality data, advanced technology, and deep sector knowledge to deliver better answers for airlines, airports, technology businesses, and financial institutions. The business is also integrating AI across its intelligence platform to make insights more powerful and timely.

About the role

This newly created position sits within the People and Culture function and is a key part of OAG’s next stage of growth. Reporting to the Director of Talent and Learning Development, you will lead a wide-ranging learning and development agenda. The role covers onboarding, early-career development, leadership and management growth, commercial capability, and organisation-wide learning initiatives.

A major part of the job involves working closely with commercial and sales teams to identify capability gaps and convert business goals into practical learning solutions that can be measured for impact. The role is suited to someone who sees learning and development as a driver of real behavioural and performance change.

What you will do

  • Design and run OAG’s learning and development programmes, including onboarding, early-career support, management development, and advanced skills learning.
  • Create learning interventions for sales and commercial teams that strengthen consultative selling, negotiation, account management, and commercial communication.
  • Use instructional design methods to develop blended learning that is practical, engaging, and based on real workplace challenges.
  • Deliver sessions both in person across UK offices and online for international teams, tailoring your style to different audiences and levels of experience.
  • Build structured onboarding experiences that help new employees succeed from their first day, regardless of function.
  • Analyse performance information, pipeline data, and conversation intelligence to identify skill gaps and direct learning investment where it will have the greatest effect.
  • Promote a coaching mindset across the business and give managers tools they can use to support team development in everyday conversations.
  • Use AI tools to design, adapt, and scale learning content more efficiently as technology continues to shape how people learn at work.

What we are looking for

  • Background in a broad L&D role with experience creating and delivering programmes across multiple functions and improving performance in measurable ways.
  • Experience working with commercial or sales teams and building learning that contributes to revenue outcomes.
  • Good understanding of instructional design and adult learning principles, with the ability to create blended learning for varied audiences.
  • Strong facilitation skills and the confidence to engage participants from new starters to senior commercial leaders.
  • Comfort using performance data, feedback, and business metrics to identify needs and evidence impact.

Nice to have

  • A qualification in Learning and Development, HR, or Organisational Development, such as CIPD Level 5 or an equivalent credential.
  • Experience with learning management systems and digital content authoring tools.

Benefits and culture

  • A progressive, non-hierarchical culture where innovation is central to the way the business works.
  • Flexible working options, including remote working or office attendance.
  • Private health insurance, a company bonus scheme, and an enhanced pension arrangement.
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, volunteering days, and an extra day off during your birthday month.
  • Octopus EV salary sacrifice scheme.
  • Option to work remotely from anywhere in the world for up to one month each year.
  • Annual learning and development budget.

Additional information

OAG is committed to building an inclusive workplace where people feel respected and supported to do their best work. Applications are welcome from people of all backgrounds and experiences. If you need reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, the company encourages you to get in touch so support can be discussed.
