Role Overview

Tata Consultancy Services is looking for an experienced Java engineer to work on Spring Boot and microservices-based systems in Mumbai.

Technical Scope

The position focuses on Java 8 and above, with practical development in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and distributed microservices architectures.

Core Responsibilities

Build and support Java-based applications with strong hands-on coding involvement.
Develop RESTful services and microservices solutions using Spring Boot.
Implement and improve data structure usage for performance and efficiency.
Work on multithreading, concurrency handling, and robust exception management.
Handle database work across MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and related systems.
Create and run unit tests using JUnit.
Operate within Linux/Unix development environments.
Provide technical leadership for a team of 8 or more members.

Experience Needed

The role calls for 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
