Role overview

An experienced, customer-oriented HT Driver – Class 4 is required to join the Tauranga team. This position involves safe and efficient transport work across the Hawkes Bay region, while maintaining high standards of service, compliance, and professionalism.

Key duties

• Operate delivery vehicles safely and in line with road rules, transport regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Load, move, and deliver freight using tail lifts and pallet jacks, ensuring goods are secured and handled properly.
• Complete deliveries and collections while meeting customer expectations and agreed service levels.
• Keep accurate records, including delivery paperwork, dangerous goods compliance details, and system entries where needed.
• Deliver courteous, professional customer service throughout all interactions.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and other operational tasks as required.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to safe work practices in a logistics or transport setting.
• Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience and a full, clean driver’s licence.
• Current Dangerous Goods licence and experience handling regulated freight.
• Hands-on experience with curtain sider trucks, tail lifts, and pallet jacks.
• Excellent communication, time management, and professional conduct.
• Customer-focused approach with the ability to represent the business well on the road and at customer sites.
• Physically capable of carrying out manual handling duties safely.
• Open to learning, adapting, and building skills in a global logistics environment.
• Clean criminal record, no driving convictions, and willingness to complete drug and alcohol testing if required.
