You will collaborate with analysts, communicators, and regional teams across multiple continents to improve how energy and financial research is presented and shared. You will help shape both global design standards and regional customization needs, preserving a cohesive visual identity while keeping materials flexible for local use. This is a hands-on creative role where speed, accuracy, and conceptual thinking are all important. Your work will support the accessibility and broader global reach of high-volume research outputs, helping communicate complex energy transition and economic topics at scale.

Key accountabilities

• Produce and update polished design assets for global templates such as reports, fact sheets, presentations, newsletters, and digital publications, while maintaining brand alignment and a consistent visual style.
• Build clear data visuals, including charts, graphs, maps, and interactive explainers, working with analysts to make complex research understandable for non-specialist audiences.
• Design a broad mix of visuals for digital and print channels, including social media assets, webinars, event materials, presentations, website content, and partner-facing collateral.
• Create infographics and storytelling visuals that translate technical energy and finance research into content that is easy to follow, engaging, and worth sharing.
• Help refine design systems, templates, and brand guidelines, and support regional teams through guidance and training on tools such as Flourish and similar visualization platforms.
• Step in with extra design capacity for regional teams across different geographies to maintain continuity during heavy workloads or staffing gaps.
• Serve as a temporary design support resource when needed, assisting with formatting, visualization, and production tasks across time zones.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, data visualization, digital media, or a similar discipline, along with 4 to 7 years of professional design experience.
• Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office design features, and visualization tools such as Flourish; experience with Canva and web-related tools like HTML/CSS, Drupal, or UX design is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to convert technical research, data, and complex subject matter into accurate, clear, and visually compelling outputs.
• A strong portfolio showing work across reports, presentations, infographics, charts, maps, digital campaigns, and data-driven storytelling.
• Proven project management ability with the capacity to juggle multiple deadlines, priorities, and stakeholders in an international setting.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to explain design choices and respond constructively to feedback from multicultural teams.
• Strong written and spoken English, plus the flexibility to occasionally work early or late hours to support global coordination.
