Front End Specialist

About the role

The Front End Specialist supports customers at the store and helps keep the location looking organized and welcoming. This position is centered on front-end store operations, while also contributing to customer service, merchandising, and general store upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers as they enter and leave the store, and when they come to the front end.
• Handle register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Stay up to date on promotions and advertising so customer questions can be answered and sales can be supported.
• Help promote Ollie’s Army and other donation initiatives throughout the year.
• Assist with truck unloading, pricing, merchandising, and recovering the sales floor.
• Keep the store neat and complete other assigned tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive, customer-focused team player with a willingness to engage and assist shoppers.

Physical requirements

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Able to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Able to stand for long periods and work safely.
