About the Role

Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) is looking for Field Service Technicians to join its Perth branch in Kewdale, Western Australia. The role involves working across a wide range of material handling equipment, with breakdown response, repairs, and routine servicing carried out throughout Perth.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on customer equipment, including breakdown jobs, in a prompt and efficient way.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service when dealing with TMHA clients and end users.
• Keep job sheets, timesheets, and other administrative records accurate and up to date.

Requirements and Skills

• Hold a current driver’s licence.
• Have a relevant trade qualification such as Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Plant Mechanic, or Diesel Mechanic.
• A forklift licence and LPG certificate are advantageous, though not mandatory.
• Show a strong work ethic and a self-driven approach.
• Bring solid mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving ability.
• Manage time well and be comfortable working independently.
• Communicate effectively in both spoken and written form.
• Prior experience in a similar role within a related industry is preferred.
• Be willing to take part in training that builds product knowledge, procedures, safe work practices, statutory obligations, and licensing understanding.
• Demonstrate a consistent commitment to safe work practices.
