Event Manager

Role overview

A well-established professional services firm in Singapore is expanding its business development and corporate engagement efforts, and is hiring an Event Manager to lead professional events and related marketing activities. The office is located in the Central area and is easy to reach.

What you will do

• Design, plan, and deliver corporate events, client-facing engagement activities, networking sessions, and other business development initiatives.
• Run internal events such as staff engagement programmes, annual celebrations, and appreciation events.
• Handle event budgets, schedules, supplier sourcing, contract discussions, and on-the-ground logistics to ensure smooth execution.
• Work with internal teams on event ideas, marketing assets, and campaign materials.
• Help strengthen client relationships by supporting customer-focused events and engagement activities.
• Oversee the preparation and circulation of corporate collateral, publications, newsletters, and promotional content.
• Contribute to branding work and help maintain consistency across all marketing communications.
• Support CSR initiatives, community programmes, and charitable activities.
• Coordinate award submissions, rankings entries, and other professional recognition applications.
• Keep track of media exposure, industry updates, and market movements to aid marketing and business development goals.
• Review event outcomes and compile post-event reports, assessments, and improvement suggestions.

What we are looking for

• A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Event Management, or a closely related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in event management, marketing, corporate communications, or business development.
• Experience gained in a law firm, accounting practice, auditing firm, consulting firm, or similar professional services setting will be an advantage.
• Strong background in organising corporate events, client engagement activities, conferences, seminars, and internal functions.
• Comfort working with vendors, preparing budgets, and coordinating event logistics.
