Role Overview
This position supports planning and coordination activities for operations and maintenance functions at the Shahdol site. The role focuses on keeping work, information, meetings, and follow-ups moving smoothly across operations, maintenance, technical, and support teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Organize and track the movement of work and information across operations, maintenance, and technical teams.
- Plan and support outside interactions and site visits related to CBM O&M.
- Set up meetings and ensure specific tasks are assigned to the right people.
- Work with service departments to resolve important operations and maintenance issues.
- Discuss work progress with department heads and share updates with the O&M head.
- Prepare reports on work progress and equipment or machine downtime caused by failures for senior management review.
- Prepare the O&M budget and submit it on time for approval.
- Coordinate O&M-related matters with the subsurface and project teams.
- Collaborate with Reservoir, D&C, LAQ, and security teams while promoting teamwork, information sharing, and mutual support.
- Work with contractors and external parties as required.
Skills and Competencies
- Support the head of operations and maintenance in day-to-day coordination.
- Ensure smooth communication and information flow between operations, maintenance, and support functions.
Education Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
- Practical working knowledge of MS Office tools.
Experience Required
- Prior experience handling planning responsibilities in a large oil and gas production project.
- Strong understanding of industry codes, standard practices, applicable regulations, and international standards.
- 4 to 5 years of experience in planning roles within the upstream E&P oil and gas industry.
