Electrical Maintenance Engineer

About the Role

This position is for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer supporting naval maintenance operations in Jeddah. The role focuses on preventive and corrective electrical upkeep, troubleshooting basic faults, preparing technical records, reviewing spare parts needs, and helping execute maintenance plans while working under close supervision.

Key Duties

• Support the investigation of electrical failures, incidents, and system-related issues.
• Carry out ship repair activities on board vessels.
• Help prepare technical documents such as reports, checklists, procedures, and evidence required for the RSNF.
• Log maintenance information in the relevant systems.
• Assist the Senior Maintenance Engineer or Area Supervisor during operational checks and functional inspections.
• Take part in technical investigations under supervision.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Applicants should have 0 to 3 years of work experience.
• Basic understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance is expected.
• Strong English communication skills are required.
• Strong Arabic communication skills are required.
• A valid Saudi driving licence and access to a personal car are mandatory.
