District Manager - League Operations

Role Summary

Brodie League is looking for District Managers to join its Toronto-based league operations team. This position suits someone with an entrepreneurial approach, strong ownership, and a track record of leading teams to high operational standards. The District Manager is accountable for the performance, consistency, and overall condition of a set of league locations, helping Brodie grow across Ontario by strengthening local leaders and improving the experience delivered at each site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day health of the district and ensure each location consistently delivers the company standard across game flow, staffing, stats, content, and player experience.
• Track weekly performance closely, spot issues early, and intervene before operational problems escalate.
• Coach General Managers and League Managers so they can lead confidently and operate with increasing independence.
• Serve as the primary support contact for local leaders, helping them work through challenges and make sound decisions.
• Make sure company playbooks, workflows, systems, SOPs, and checklists are adopted and followed consistently.
• Identify where execution is breaking down and share field feedback that helps refine and improve operating processes.
• Support the launch of new markets from planning through go-live.
• Conduct market research covering facilities, demographics, and the competitive environment.
• Recruit, onboard, and train the first wave of on-site leaders and game-day staff for new locations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure each new market is ready for launch.
• Look for inefficient or cumbersome workflows and help improve operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and technology partners to introduce automation that reduces errors and admin time.
• Promote adoption of new tools and systems across the district.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership ability, especially in developing managers who can eventually run independently.
• Experience driving consistent use of standardized systems and procedures.
• Background managing reliable execution across multiple sites, teams, or locations.
• Strong troubleshooting and escalation-handling skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly.
• Operational mindset with an interest in making processes more efficient through better workflows or automation.
• Excellent organization, accountability, and attention to detail.
• A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to on-site locations are required.
• Must be available to work in the Toronto HQ in Liberty Village five days per week.

Compensation

The target total cash compensation for this role is CAD 70,000 to CAD 100,000 per year. Final compensation will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and business requirements, and may change in the future.
