This is a remote leadership opportunity in Canada for a Director of Revenue Operations. The role is being shared on behalf of a partner organization, which will handle applications and all subsequent hiring steps. The position is central to the revenue engine and focuses on bringing together Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to improve alignment, efficiency, and performance.
You will be expected to create the operating systems, processes, and analytical insights that support reliable and scalable revenue growth in a fast-moving SaaS setting. The role combines strategy with direct execution, and it requires the ability to turn complex information into practical operational direction. A major part of the job is improving the full revenue lifecycle, including lead generation, expansion, and retention. Strong ownership of CRM design, forecasting quality, and revenue analytics will be important for helping leadership make better decisions. You will also help modernize the revenue technology environment through automation and AI-enabled improvements.
Key accountabilities
- Lead and improve the full revenue engine across marketing, sales, customer success, and expansion activities so the go-to-market motion stays aligned from end to end.
- Develop and mature a hybrid growth model that combines product-led and sales-assisted motions, with smooth movement between in-product and sales-driven journeys.
- Own forecasting, pipeline oversight, and revenue reporting to strengthen visibility, improve accuracy, and support executive decisions.
- Work with GTM leadership to set KPIs, targets, and performance frameworks that keep execution tied to business goals.
- Create and continuously refine scalable and repeatable revenue operations processes across the business.
- Strengthen data quality, reporting systems, and funnel transparency so insights can be produced more quickly and reliably.
- Own CRM strategy and governance, including Salesforce, while driving adoption and system performance across teams.
- Manage the revenue technology stack and ensure it is integrated, scalable, and useful to the business.
- Identify and roll out automation and AI-based improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and GTM productivity.
- Contribute to strategic planning work such as annual planning, territory planning, and capacity modeling.
- Review revenue trends and present clear recommendations to senior leaders.
- Help build and expand a high-performing Revenue Operations team as the company grows.
Requirements
- At least 7 to 10+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or GTM Strategy.
- Solid experience in high-growth SaaS companies; fintech experience is considered a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience managing modern revenue technology stacks and CRM platforms, with Salesforce as the preferred system.
- Proven ability to build and maintain forecasting models, dashboards, and revenue reporting structures.
- Strong understanding of funnel metrics, pipeline movement, and revenue drivers across product-led and sales-led motions.
- Experience using AI and automation to improve GTM performance, forecasting, or sales efficiency.
- Strong analytical capability, ideally with exposure to BI tools, SQL, or data platforms.
- Demonstrated success working across functions and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Experience building or scaling RevOps teams in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical or analytical findings into simple business recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related discipline; an MBA or certifications would be beneficial.
- A systems-oriented mindset with a strong bias toward execution and measurable operational impact.
Benefits
- Competitive pay for a senior Revenue Operations leadership position.
- Remote-first setup anywhere across Canada.
- Chance to build and shape a modern revenue operations function from the ground up.
- High-visibility role with direct access to executive leadership and strategic planning.
- Access to modern GTM tools, AI-enabled workflows, and advanced analytics environments.
- Collaborative, fast-moving SaaS culture that values ownership and delivery.
- Opportunity to influence company-wide revenue strategy and the systems that support growth.
