Role overview
This is a full-time Data Scientist position focused on turning data into strategic insight and supporting better decision-making. The role involves shaping analytics direction, building a strong data science function, and producing actionable intelligence for AI labs and institutional customers. You will partner closely with product, engineering, and leadership to identify opportunities, set workflow standards, and expand analytics capabilities within the artificial intelligence domain.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and grow the data science function by defining methods, frameworks, and best practices for high-quality institutional analytics.
- Manage the complete analytics workflow, from defining the problem to launching solutions, while serving AI labs, institutional investors, funds, and other professionals.
- Create and implement analytics plans for new products and market opportunities, converting business needs into technical deliverables.
- Work with product and engineering teams to improve data pipelines, support feature creation, and shape model deployment approaches.
- Deliver measurable business value through predictive modelling, statistical analysis, and machine learning while keeping outputs rigorous and easy to interpret for institutional users.
What the employer is looking for
- A solid background in applied data science, ideally with solutions built for institutional or enterprise clients.
- Hands-on experience growing data science teams and establishing ML and analytics processes from an early stage.
- Strong command of statistics, machine learning, experimentation design, and model evaluation techniques.
