What you will do
- Place the customer at the centre of every task and decision.
- Build rapport with customers and serve them confidently and professionally.
- Help keep products and services available whenever customers need them.
- Handle merchandise carefully so it stays in excellent condition for customers.
- Maintain a clean and well-organised shop floor and back-of-house area.
- Use the training provided to carry out department routines and procedures correctly.
- Follow company policies and health and safety requirements at all times.
- Support teammates in other departments when needed, even if your main duties sit elsewhere.
What you need
- Strong natural customer service skills, including greeting, acknowledging, and helping shoppers proactively.
- A strong work ethic with commitment to customers, the team, and the department.
- The ability to prioritise tasks so work is done correctly for customers.
- Flexibility and resilience in a fast-changing retail environment.
- The ability to follow instructions, whether spoken or written.
- Good reliability and punctuality.
- A neat, presentable appearance at all times.
