Role overview

This is a full-time, in-office opportunity in Umm Al Quwain for a Cost Estimator. The position focuses on evaluating project needs, building precise cost estimates, and assisting with budgeting activities across projects.

What you will do

• Review project specifications and translate them into reliable cost estimates.
• Prepare pricing submissions and quotation documents with a strong focus on accuracy.
• Support budgeting activities and help ensure costs stay within planned limits.
• Apply cost control practices to improve financial efficiency.
• Work closely with project managers and engineering teams to identify practical, cost-saving options.
• Refine and improve the cost estimation workflow so it better supports company and project objectives.

Required qualifications

• Good knowledge of cost management and cost control methods.
• Strong analytical ability and careful attention to detail for estimation and reporting.
• Prior experience in project estimation and preparing detailed cost proposals.
• Sound budgeting skills to allocate resources effectively and maintain financial discipline.
• Clear communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to use cost estimation and project management tools or software.
• A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Experience in woodworking or manufacturing is considered an added advantage.
