About the role
Murad is hiring a self-driven Content Videographer to create video that showcases products, customer experiences, and brand stories. The ideal person can work across events, editorial content, and storytelling formats, and will partner closely with in-house Creative and Marketing teams.
This is a social-first role for someone equally comfortable filming on an iPhone or using professional camera equipment, and who understands what captures attention on TikTok and Instagram. The position calls for proactive idea generation, independent execution, and the ability to move quickly on same-day or reactive production needs. The role is largely self-directed and reports to a manager within the team.
Work arrangement
This position follows a hybrid schedule. The employee will work from Murad’s El Segundo, CA headquarters on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and remotely for the remainder of the week unless business needs require a different arrangement.
Key responsibilities
- Capture and edit short-form social content for TikTok and Instagram with speed and responsiveness.
- Develop original concepts and identify when additional stakeholders should be involved from idea stage through final delivery.
- Act on creative briefs as well as self-generated content ideas.
- Balance low-fi reactive content with more refined, cinematic video edits depending on the need.
- Work closely with Creative, Social, and other cross-functional partners.
- Strengthen and express the Murad brand while aligning output with company goals and identity.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in photography and videography.
- A portfolio that shows versatility across events, editorial work, and brand storytelling.
- Background in a corporate and/or agency environment, with comfort navigating structured processes.
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro; familiarity with CapCut or DaVinci Resolve is also valuable.
- Experience in beauty, skincare, or lifestyle brands is a plus.
