Content Moderator

Overview

This role is for a remote contractor focused on video annotation and moderation-related labeling work. The assignment involves reviewing short video clips, spotting repeating events, and marking them accurately according to project rules.

Compensation & Commitment

Pay is set at $65 to $80 per hour. The engagement is remote and contract-based, with an expected workload of 10 to 40 hours each week.

Location

Applicants must be based in the United States, Canada, or the United Kingdom.

Key Work

• Detect repeated events in short video clips and divide them according to the project instructions.
• Record precise start and end timestamps for every event identified.
• Write short, accurate, and consistent descriptions for each annotation.
• Keep submissions aligned with the required quality and consistency benchmarks.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally to confirm instructions and resolve unclear cases.
• Check your own work and update annotations as project guidance changes.

Requirements

• Strong English fluency at a native or near-native level, both spoken and written.
• Prior experience in video annotation, moderation, writing, video editing, videography, or a closely related field.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy in labeling.
• Ability to work with detailed annotation rules and adapt quickly when feedback is provided.
• Experience with AI data work or machine learning annotation projects is an advantage.
