About Us
ASD Architects & Interiors is a boutique architectural practice based in Doha, Qatar, dedicated to designing beautiful buildings with meticulous attention to detail. We are currently experiencing a high workload and are seeking a skilled Architectural Draftsman to join our team. If you thrive on transforming complex ideas into precise technical drawings, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
- Translate the Principal Architect's concepts and directives, including verbal instructions, into accurate and detailed CAD drawings.
- Develop and prepare architectural drawings for permit submissions, aiming for first-time approval.
- Collaborate effectively with MEP, structural, and interior design consultants to ensure project coherence.
- Manage and maintain organized drawing registers for efficient record-keeping.
- Undertake 3D modeling tasks as required by project demands.
Requirements
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional drafting experience, demonstrating practical application of CAD software.
- Exhibit mastery of AutoCAD 2D, including proper layer management, line weight application, and XREF handling.
- Familiarity with Qatar's authority submission formats and procedures is essential.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 3D is considered an advantage.
- Working knowledge of Revit software is highly desirable.
