Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit financial costs for promotions and new product listings accurately and within required timelines, in line with agreed promotional arrangements, customer needs and internal sign-off processes.
  • Stay in regular contact with customers to help complete new line forms, promotional paperwork and other routine commercial tasks on schedule.
  • Keep Movex updated promptly and accurately with agreed customer promotions to support efficient execution and strong commercial visibility.
  • Compile and send cost updates, including customer-facing communications, in accordance with agreed decisions and business deadlines.
  • Ensure cost records in Movex remain current, with changes reflected quickly and shared appropriately where needed.
  • Handle everyday queries from trade buyers, assistants and supply chain contacts, delivering professional and timely support on commercial issues.
  • Partner with teams across Boyne Valley, including Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, Purchasing, Logistics and Field Sales, to resolve issues and meet customer expectations.
  • Provide holiday cover and other leave cover for colleagues in the Commercial Support team to help maintain consistent service levels.
  • Take on additional administrative and commercial duties as required.

Requirements

  • Solid numerical ability, commercial understanding and a strong eye for detail.
  • Good organisational skills and the capability to balance several priorities, stakeholders and deadlines at once.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both internal teams and customers.
  • Able to work independently, take responsibility for tasks and identify ways to improve administration or processes that support the role’s development.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel, along with confidence using commercial systems and workflows.
  • Experience in a similar commercial support or customer-facing position would be beneficial.
