Role Overview

The Claims Assistant supports administrative claims operations by responding to enquiries, guiding stakeholders through procedures, routing work to the right teams, and helping maintain efficient workflows across departments.

Key Duties

  • Handle and route questions from clients, brokers, insurers, and internal colleagues
  • Explain how to complete claims-related administrative processes and workflow steps
  • Sort incoming emails and calls and send them to the correct stakeholders
  • Work with multiple departments across the business and enterprise
  • Assist phone queues and other teams when needed
  • Record complaint escalations and positive feedback received through the enquiry queue and pass them to the correct team
  • Receive daily, weekly, and monthly reports and workflows from different stakeholders and complete the required transactions
  • Support semi-automated processes with oversight and follow-through
  • Carry out other administrative tasks and assignments as requested by management
