You will turn complex clinical, operational, and financial data into dashboards, KPIs, and reporting structures that support care quality and performance improvement.
In this role, you will work alongside clinical teams, analysts, and IT partners to define meaningful metrics, maintain data consistency, and improve decision-making across cancer care programs. The position calls for strong expertise in healthcare data settings, especially Epic and enterprise data warehouse environments. Key Responsibilities
- Create and support BI solutions such as dashboards, standardized reports, and on-demand analytics that convert clinical and operational needs into practical KPIs and insights for oncology and healthcare service lines.
- Develop, review, and harmonize clinical and operational measures so they match internal standards, regulatory expectations, and oncology reporting requirements.
- Use Epic, Business Objects, Power BI, and enterprise data warehouses such as Clarity and Caboodle to create, maintain, and improve reporting products.
- Investigate data issues through validation, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis to make sure reports remain accurate and dependable.
- Partner with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to collect requirements, guide dashboard design, and ensure reporting aligns with real-world care workflows.
- Deliver user training, documentation, and ongoing support, while helping improve reporting standards, data models, and analytics practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Clinical Informatics, Healthcare, or a related discipline, plus at least 6 years of experience, or an equivalent mix of education and healthcare/IT experience.
- Proven background in healthcare analytics, business intelligence development, or data analysis, preferably in academic medical centers or oncology-oriented settings.
- Practical experience with Epic tools and modules including Clarity, Caboodle, Reporting Workbench, Radar, and SlicerDicer, along with strong SQL skills for relational and dimensional data structures.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports in Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI platforms, with a solid grasp of data warehousing concepts.
- Good understanding of healthcare workflows, oncology terminology, and clinical quality or registry reporting is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication, stakeholder coordination, and analytical abilities, with the capacity to translate complex clinical needs into scalable reporting solutions.
Benefits
- Comprehensive medical coverage with full premium support for employees and robust support for dependents.
- Paid time off that includes vacation, sick leave, and 9 paid holidays each year.
- Retirement support with pension plan options and long-term financial security programs.
