What you will be responsible for

As an Assistant Manager, you will support the day-to-day operation of one store. Your work will include recruiting, supervising, and guiding team members, while keeping financial objectives in focus and maintaining high standards of service. The organization also provides a paid leadership training program lasting at least 3 weeks to help set you up for success.

Eligibility and work expectations

Candidates should have a high school diploma and be willing to work in a store location within a 50-mile radius. A flexible schedule is required, including weekends. Food safety certification through ServSafe is also expected.

Work environment and physical demands

The job can involve hot counter areas, steam, food vapors, and a workspace with limited room. Team members are generally expected to stand for long periods and work quickly while maintaining accuracy. Duties may require preparing both hot and cold food, using a Chinese chef knife and other kitchen equipment, lifting up to 50 lbs., standing for up to four hours, and reaching across 36-inch counter surfaces to serve guests. The environment is fast-paced, with high noise levels, limited storage, and high shelving. Strong verbal communication, the ability to adapt to changing priorities, and skill in handling conflict or difficult situations are important.
