Subject Matter Expert (Mathematics) Internship

About the opportunity

This part-time remote internship is for a mathematics subject matter expert who can support learners by solving questions clearly, accurately, and quickly. You will help students understand difficult concepts and provide original, well-structured solutions.

What you will do

• Answer student queries related to mathematics in a timely and precise manner.
• Identify the underlying issue in each doubt and explain the solution in a simple, easy-to-follow way.
• Handle questions from areas such as trigonometry, calculus, logarithms, probability, statistics, matrices, and determinants.
• Break down advanced mathematical ideas into smaller, manageable parts that students can grasp more easily.
• Maintain strong solution quality by ensuring answers are clear and mathematically correct.
• Prepare responses that are original and free from plagiarism.

Who can apply

Applicants must be available for a work-from-home internship, be able to begin between 19th Jun'26 and 24th Jul'26, and commit to a 3-month duration. Candidates should have relevant skills and interest in the role. Women looking to start or restart their careers are also encouraged to apply.

Preferred background

Candidates with an MSc in Mathematics, a PhD in Mathematics, or an ME/MTech in Mathematics are preferred.

Compensation and schedule

The stipend is INR 5,000 to 6,000 per month. The role offers flexible working hours.
