Role Overview

The Vice President - Business Solution Group will lead large transformation initiatives and own key SaaS platforms and IT applications. This role is responsible for ensuring strong governance, business continuity, delivery quality, compliance, and effective coordination across business, technology, vendors, and auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end planning and delivery of complex transformation programs, from kickoff through closure, while keeping them aligned with business priorities.
• Set up and manage scope, timelines, resourcing, and governance structures, while actively handling risks, interdependencies, and escalations.
• Own SaaS platforms and IT applications to support continuity of operations, scalability, and adherence to internal and external standards.
• Direct the full delivery cycle, including execution, testing, quality checks, deployment, and support after implementation.
• Handle vendor partnerships, including contract oversight, performance tracking, and governance to maintain accountability and service levels.
• Build strong coordination between internal teams, technology functions, and external partners to keep delivery on track.
• Ensure IT initiatives and solutions are executed within approved budgets and in a cost-efficient manner.
• Act as the main contact for internal and external audits, ensuring prompt compliance and effective risk control measures.
• Create and maintain governance processes for project management, testing standards, and delivery quality.
• Guide, coach, and support project teams to encourage strong performance and ongoing improvement.
• Track KPIs, budget utilization, and overall project status, and share updates with stakeholders and senior leadership.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate brings experience in IT program management, business solutions, and transformation leadership, preferably within BFSI. The role also requires exposure to vendor and contract management, deep understanding of SaaS platforms and enterprise applications, and experience in application ownership. Strong performance in audit management, risk frameworks, compliance, communication, leadership, and analytical thinking is essential. Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as RBI guidelines, information security, and data privacy standards is also expected.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, or an equivalent qualification, is required. Relevant project management certifications such as PMP, Agile, or PRINCE2 are preferred.
