Role overview
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Technical Recruiter who can support large-scale hiring across engineering, technical, and professional roles. This opportunity suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-moving staffing setup, can juggle several priorities at once, and is motivated by finding niche talent.
This position is fully remote.
Key responsibilities
- Run the end-to-end hiring process for technical, engineering, and professional positions.
- Find, assess, interview, and shortlist candidates through job boards, recruiter tools, professional networking, referrals, ATS records, and other sourcing channels.
- Create and grow talent pipelines for high-volume and difficult-to-fill roles.
- Partner with the Recruiting Manager to refine sourcing plans when candidate response is low or hiring becomes challenging.
- Handle recruiting across multiple VMS platforms while meeting client rules and submission deadlines.
- Keep candidates informed at every stage to support a smooth and positive experience.
- Perform in-depth interviews to evaluate technical capability, background, communication, and overall fit.
- Submit strong candidates to clients with clear and accurate summaries.
- Maintain up-to-date records in the ATS for candidate progress, submissions, feedback, interview outcomes, and dispositions.
- Work toward or beyond recruiting targets such as submissions, interviews, placements, fill ratios, and activity goals.
- Coordinate with account managers to understand client hiring needs, priorities, and market conditions.
- Develop and nurture relationships with both active and passive talent in technical and engineering markets.
- Monitor market movement, talent supply, pay trends, and competitor activity.
- Assist with recruiting process improvements and other operational work as needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent recruiting experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in recruiting, preferably in a staffing agency, technical recruiting, or other high-volume hiring environment.
- Background recruiting for technical, engineering, manufacturing, IT, or professional roles.
- Prior exposure to VMS-based recruiting is preferred.
- Strong talent sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean search techniques, and networking.
- Comfort managing multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication, interviewing, and relationship-building abilities.
- A results-focused approach with strong urgency and accountability.
- Experience using ATS platforms and recruiting technology.
- Solid organization and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while still contributing effectively to a team.

Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The role is fully remote.
