About the company
This position is centered on technical support for the service network and contributes directly to after-sales performance. The role is also responsible for helping apply Geely’s quality and warranty standards, with a strong focus on compliance and smooth day-to-day operations across service channels.
Role overview
The Technical Quality Engineer supports technical assistance, warranty handling, and product quality activities across the dealer network. Working closely with dealers and headquarters, the role helps resolve technical concerns, raise service quality, and ensure that after-sales requirements are met. It also contributes to technical training for dealers and supports the rollout of new models so that service teams are prepared.
Technical support
- Assist dealers with difficult repair cases and diagnostic challenges.
- Help put Geely technical standards, repair methods, and service bulletins into practice.
- Escalate unresolved technical matters to the Regional Service Center and track them through to closure.
- Keep an eye on technical cases and support the development of dealer technical capability.
Warranty management
- Support the rollout of warranty policies and associated processes.
- Guide dealers through warranty claim processing and help resolve claim-related concerns.
- Track warranty performance and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with warranty audits and ensure corrective actions are followed up.
Training and new model launch support
- Contribute to technical and warranty training for after-sales teams.
- Support new vehicle launches by coordinating service documentation, special tools, dealer readiness, and technical support on site.
Qualifications
- More than 5 years of experience in automotive technical support, warranty, quality, or a related after-sales function.
- Background in a fast-moving environment with an OEM, importer, or authorized dealer network is preferred.
- Solid understanding of vehicle diagnostics, repair workflows, and warranty processes.
- High-voltage certification is considered an advantage.
- Practical, proactive, and strong in solving problems.
- Fluency in German and English is required.
- Role involves frequent travel.
