Role overview
The Supply Chain Coordinator will support the rollout of raw materials for new product launches and formula updates, while also keeping a close eye on cost of goods sold (COGS). In this role, you will partner with multiple teams to align information, timelines, and execution across projects.
The position reports to the Director of Procurement and works alongside R&D, Quality Assurance, and Sales to support day-to-day tactical needs. Success in this role requires a highly organized, self-directed, and proactive professional who can manage a fast-moving and complex environment, with particular attention to bill of material cost reviews and commercialization of new projects.
Key responsibilities
- Create and carry out supply chain plans for new products and formula changes so materials and services are delivered on time and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the supply chain operations team to schedule raw material deliveries for new items in line with production planning requirements.
- Work with suppliers and vendors on pricing, contract terms, and agreements to secure cost-effective sourcing of raw materials and components.
- Review supply chain data and KPIs to spot improvement opportunities and put corrective measures in place to improve efficiency.
- Evaluate supply chain processes regularly to identify risks and prepare backup plans to reduce the impact of disruptions.
- Maintain adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies throughout supply chain activities.
- Build productive working relationships with internal teams and external partners such as suppliers, manufacturers, and distributors.
- This role does not currently manage any direct reports.
Qualifications
- This is an in-office position located in Jacksonville, Florida.
- A BBA in supply chain, operations, or an equivalent level of experience is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in supply chain management is required, especially in project implementation, raw material handling, and COGS.
- No travel is required for this role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products is needed.
