Описание работы
Role overview
Air Canada is looking for a driven store keeper to support line maintenance through material, tooling, warehousing, receiving, shipping, and issuing activities at Frankfurt Airport. The role also involves operating motorized handling equipment and local delivery vehicles, as well as ensuring that aircraft and non-aircraft materials, parts, components, and tooling are inspected and compliant with company and regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
The selected person will manage daily inventory and warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inspection, issuing, order handling, stock control, and processing unserviceable items while keeping the ERP system updated.
This position also covers preparation and dispatch of part orders to outstation bases, coordination of aircraft-on-ground deliveries, and support for customs clearance of AOG parts outside regular hours when required.
Additional duties include handling time-expired materials, issued-out parts and tooling, and wheel rotation reports; preparing shipping paperwork; and working with dangerous goods shipped by air in line with applicable regulations.
The role requires active inventory monitoring, coordination with Supply Chain in Canada when replenishment is needed, and classification, identification, packaging, marking, labeling, and documentation of dangerous goods after successful completion of the relevant Air Canada assessment. The employee must also follow corporate policies, work safely, maintain housekeeping and health-and-safety standards, monitor storage temperature and humidity, collect and deliver aircraft parts from cargo or other brokers on or off airport property, and complete any other related tasks assigned.
Compliance and working conditions
All work must be carried out in accordance with Transport Canada requirements, company regulations, current IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations, the Canadian Transportation of Goods Act, and other applicable authorities. The role requires the ability to lift up to 45 lbs and to manage workload and priorities proactively.
