Job Purpose
This role focuses on welcoming customers, understanding their vehicle service needs, recommending the appropriate services, and securing approval before any work begins. The Service Advisor is also responsible for tracking service progress, keeping customers informed about completion timelines, and supporting the company’s goals for customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and profit improvement while following AJVA’s policies and procedures.
Daily Operations
- Manage the routine tasks tied to the role so daily operations continue smoothly.
- Look for ways to improve processes and working methods by applying good industry practices, reducing costs, and raising productivity.
- Help prepare service sales reports on time and with accuracy, in line with company and department standards.
- Greet customers, listen carefully to their concerns, and ask the right questions to understand what their vehicles require.
- Explain the required service to customers and obtain their confirmation before proceeding.
- Estimate service costs and the expected completion time, then present the details clearly and secure the customer’s signature or approval.
- Prepare job cards for vehicles scheduled for service, obtain the necessary approvals, and coordinate with technicians to begin the work.
- Monitor each vehicle’s service progress with technicians and make sure the work is completed on the agreed schedule.
- Coordinate technician activities so repairs and maintenance are completed correctly on the first attempt.
- Check finished service work to confirm it has been completed properly and that the pricing is accurate.
- Update the service tracking sheet and keep customers informed about vehicle status and pickup readiness.
- Identify repeat customers, prioritize their cases, and inform the Service Manager so they receive appropriate attention.
- Recommend the most suitable services to customers to improve satisfaction, reduce complaints, and support sales.
- Proactively suggest additional services that may be needed for the vehicle, even before customers request them, to increase revenue and improve service quality.
Experience
The position requires at least 2 years of relevant experience in a related industry.
Education
A high school qualification is required, with a Technical Diploma preferred.
Language Skills
Strong written and spoken English communication skills are required.
Additional Information
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
