(Senior) Software Developer (m/w/d)

Role overview

This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering and AI-driven development. You will help build and evolve scalable backend systems while working with agentic coding practices, autonomous AI agents, and modern cloud technologies. The team is creating legal-tech agents for customers and shaping what the next generation of software engineering looks like today.

Key responsibilities

• Work with advanced AI-supported development workflows, where agentic coding is part of the daily routine.
• Collaborate with autonomous AI agents that can independently take on development tasks and support engineering workflows.
• Build and improve backend systems, with a focus on .NET and Python.
• Own technical features end to end, from early concept through to production operation.
• Help shape an engineering organization that is redefining software development through AI and new ways of working.
• Design and implement scalable cloud applications and modern software architectures.
• Assess and integrate new AI technologies, tools, and frameworks into development processes.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and the founding team to advance the platform.

What you bring

• Several years of experience as a software developer, with a strong background in backend engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development, agentic coding, and scalable backend systems.
• Strong skills in .NET and/or Python, plus a solid understanding of modern cloud technologies.
• Strong curiosity and a clear drive to keep learning and working with the latest technologies.
• An independent, pragmatic working style paired with high standards for architecture, code quality, and technical solutions.
• A team-focused mindset with enjoyment in collaboration, knowledge sharing, and shared wins.
• Interest in a dynamic, technology-led environment with plenty of room to shape how things are done.
• Fluent German is mandatory.
• Willingness to be present regularly in Munich and to work closely with the team on site.
