About the role
SNDL is hiring a Sanitation Technician for its Kelowna Valens Agritech Facility in Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. This role focuses on keeping production spaces clean, organized, and compliant so operations can run safely and efficiently.
What you will do
- Clean production equipment and work areas to maintain a tidy, safe facility.
- Support and direct teammates with sanitation-related tasks when needed.
- Make sure cleaning work follows quality expectations and safety standards.
- Use chemicals and equipment in line with standard operating procedures.
- Regularly remove waste and recycling from the production area.
- Inform your supervisor when cleaning materials or supplies need replenishing.
- Complete the required cleaning logs and documentation accurately.
What you need to bring
- Previous sanitation experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial setting is required.
- You should be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- A valid WHMIS certification is preferred, or you must be willing to obtain it after hiring.
- You need to be able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- A professional attitude and presentable appearance are expected.
- Strong attention to detail is essential.
- You should have solid verbal and written communication abilities.
- Good multitasking, organization, and time-management skills are needed to handle priorities effectively.
