Role overview

The Sanitation Operator is a full-time regular position based in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, Canada. What you will do

  • Clean packaging zones, dry storage areas, and shared spaces such as doors, walls, and floors.
  • Handle waste-related work, including garbage removal and washing waste totes.
  • Use sanitation tools and equipment such as floor scrubbers, and carry out manual cleaning when needed.
  • Clean pipes, railings, stairs, and outdoor areas, including the area around the smoke shack.
  • Carry out scheduled sanitation work on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Support operations when needed, including covering the peeler operator or other duties.
  • Manage chemical drum changes, label removal, cleaning, and correct disposal procedures.
  • Take part in mandatory cleanup days and complete assigned MDI tasks.
  • Perform other responsibilities as directed by supervisors.
