Woolworths Group New Zealand is seeking a Retail Assistant focused on merchandise support in Wellington. This role is centered on creating a positive shopping experience, keeping the store running smoothly, and maintaining high standards of presentation and customer care.

Key duties
- Deliver friendly, attentive customer service and help improve the overall shopping experience.
- Respond to customer needs while supporting routine store activities.
- Keep the store looking tidy and well presented so customers receive a high-quality experience.
- Engage with customers proactively, offer personalised help, and address questions or complaints quickly.
- Check stock quality and freshness, and help keep shelving and store areas clean and organised.
- Set up and maintain promotional displays, signage, and point-of-sale materials in line with campaigns.
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently.
- Follow safety procedures, raise hazards promptly, and complete work in line with company policies and legal requirements.
