Role overview

As a Receiver at Pete’s Frootique in Bedford, Nova Scotia, you’ll keep the receiving area running smoothly by handling incoming deliveries, organizing inventory, and making sure products are stored correctly.

Key duties

• Accept incoming shipments from vendors and place items in storage in a tidy, efficient way.
• Check deliveries carefully to confirm both quality and quantity match expectations.
• Turn stock so older items are used first and freshness is maintained.
• Support the Produce Department with different tasks during quieter periods.

Requirements and working expectations

This position may require a valid driver’s licence and the ability to meet insurability standards. You should bring strong communication skills, physical endurance, and a proactive approach to the role. A key requirement is the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
