Role focus

The position is for a Physics PhD specialist with deep knowledge in one or more of the following areas: string theory, quantum field theory, particle physics, or nuclear physics.

What you will do

• Create difficult and intellectually demanding problems in advanced physics to support AI research and model improvement.
• Partner with AI research teams to build high-quality datasets for large language models.
• Review AI-generated answers and refine them using your subject-matter expertise.
• Work autonomously in an asynchronous setup and deliver tasks by the required deadlines.
• Complete about 4 to 6 tasks each week, with each task expected to take several hours of careful work.

Candidate requirements

• PhD in Physics with specialization in string theory, quantum field theory, particle physics, or nuclear physics.
• A graduate degree from the US, UK, Canada, or Western Europe.
• Strong precision and a meticulous approach to work.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Very strong English fluency.

Compensation

The pay range for this contract role is $70 to $90 per hour.

Start and application details

The role is expected to begin in February, and applications are reviewed continuously as they are received. The application flow is estimated to take 20 to 30 minutes and includes three steps: sharing a resume, completing an AI interview based on that resume, and submitting the final form.
